Our Mission
Through our ongoing committment and intuitive approach to remain
constantly creative in the ever evolving culinary world, we, at Cafe
Kandahar, are dedicated to providing our guests with an exquisite and
truly fascinating fine dining occasion. Our ecclectic menu paired with
an award winning wine list provides for a memorable experience found
exclusively in the majestic mountains of northwest Montana.
Our History
Cafe Kandahar has been a cornerstone of Whitefish dining for the past
22 years. We are located in the beautiful Kandahar Lodge in the heart
of the village at Big Mountain Ski and Summer Resort, and are less than
25 miles from majestic Glacier National Park. Our main dining room
showcases the beginning years of Big Mountain with wonderful black and
white photographs of the proprietors and skiing legends that helped
build the Ski Resort during the 1950's. Our tradition of fine dining
and efforts towards continued culinary excellence distinguishes us as a
premier dining establishment recognized by travelers and locals alike. |
